Some of the specializations I am interested in require averages from 80-85%. I know in high school there is usually an insane drop. I know that average drops do vary person from person but how hard realistically is first-year?

Let’s say you get an A in a class at Cap (85-89%). UBC looks at that A and counts it as the minimum possible percentage grade, 85, when considering you for second-year placement. I assume the same happens at KPU, Langara, etc. and that this is the penalty for transfer students.
