I have an atlas NYX as well and got the prodigy as a project gun to customize. The slide to frame fit in a prodigy felt better than the staccato P once disconnector was polished, which btw slide to frame fit felt different every time I handled a different P at different LGS’s. So I got rid of those 2. The other 6 or so mixed 17, 20rd Prodigy mags seem to be ok in my P, but I haven't shot the P all that much. The frame and slide finish is superior, the slide to rail fitment is slightly better (slide racks more smoothly on the Staccato) and the Staccato trigger is slightly crisper and lighter. I'd put the Springfield at 95% vs the Staccato's 100%. Springfield Prodigy has a 4.25-inch barrel, while Staccato XC has a 5.0-inch barrel. Prodigy is slightly heavier in weight compared to the Staccato XC. Staccato XC offers a lighter, 2.5 lb trigger pull. Staccato XC’s slide action is smoother and more refined. Price point: Staccato XC is significantly higher.Plus, you know, it's a Wilson. $2700 isn't that much more than a Stacatto, especially when you consider Stacatto mags cost basically 2X as much ($40-45 vs $80-100)... so if you're going to end up getting 6-10 mags the original price difference ends up narrowing further. I, almost literally, bought the gun out from under another customer. He had looked at the gun and seemed interested but was on the fence. I walked over and told the sales kid I'd take it. Atlas or Stacatto. Upgrading Springfield Prodigy including magazines. Both Atlas Gunwork's and Stacatto magazines seem to be excellent. Atlas just a tad less expensive, so price is not a factor.
