I actually rinse my fabric in hot water to get rid of the stabilizer and dry in a hot dryer to shrink and set colours before using in a quilt. But it's supposed to be just like a cold. Hubby got over his in less than a week and never felt very bad, just hacking and nose blowing, mostly. Each subsequent strain of covid has been weaker than the one previous to it, thank God.
