By analyzing the code generated by the MCC, I found that the UART interrupt first executes the "UART1_Receive_CallBack " routine, and only then handles the program queue. When in the generated uart1.c file I moved the "UART1_Receive_CallBack " call to the end, after handling the queue, everything works fine.
