I am going through my first play through of BOTW, completed the first Trial Of The Sword before going to face Ganon (surprisingly beat that sucker mad quick) when I encountered an odd glitch: So I know the Master Sword gets a much-needed power upgrade from 30 to 40 upon completion of the first wave of the Trials DLC, but I’ve noticed that the durability and the power level of ... Whats the point with cheating trough it, the trial is a test to check if you are fully worthy of the full power of the master sword. And if you cant to the challenge you arent worthy of the full power. It doesn't "break", but rather needs a recharge. You can make it indestructible if you just head back to the forest, and start up the Trial of the Sword again. It wouldn't even let me start the final trials while it was recharging. I'm not sure why, when I can't even use the sword in the trials to begin with.Just of note, the game will act as though you do have the sword, including telling you to put it back in the pedestal for the trial. You will not, however, be able to put it back until you can actually draw it out using your heart gage. So don't expect to blitz the trials to charge it until the normal point at which you'd be able to do so.The above link is a great tutorial for learning how to perform shield clipping as well as applying it to the Trial of the Sword. After some practice, you should be able to get through walls easily or at least after repeat attempts.
