Mar 12, 2015 · I took the dash apart and got to the screen. I entered with the assumption this was a cabling/connector issue. So the first thing I did was wiggle the two connectors going into the screen. One was a 2 pin and the other was an 8(?) pin. When wiggling the 2 pin connector the screen would go between working and, you guessed it, not working. I have tried the start up procedure from above. It did not work. I tried both options and pushed buttons for longer than 5 seconds and the screen does not change. Still displaying a black screen with a green box. I'm starting to think that maybe the touch screen/Navigation unit is faulty. Jul 21, 2023 · Succinct. Or remove the radio, unplug everything from the back of it, and then plug it all back in. Sounds to me like your radio is jacked but it might be worth a try before buying another radio.
