A friend of my ex-husband was paid to put a 00 Expedition 5.4L engine into my F-150 (my ex-husband seized up the original engine when the oil pump went out). The guy did a half-assed job and returned the truck to me with sensors not connected ...One always trouble shoots then parts NEVER the other way around. #1 check that you have a good blue white spark that will jump a 1/4 inch gap at all 4 of the plug wires. #2 pull the carb drain plug and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas that will fill a pint jar in less then 3 minutes and 2 is even better.

First check your inertia fuel cut off switch. If button is popped up then press it back in. If that is reset and still will only turn over but not start then I would check for what's missing. Fuel, fire or air. Do fuel pressure check at the fuel rail. If fuel pressure is correct then check for fire at the spark plugs.Truck stalled and low oil pressure light came on.
