If you try and join the Air Force and fail your drug test, there is currently no further ability for you to join the Air Force without that policy change. It is a permanent ineligibility with no current possibility of a waiver. Here are the possible consequences: You fail the drug test at boot camp, get separated from the Marines and you are barred permanently from serving in any active/reserve branch.
