I can't honestly say I "get it" - turning off an entire system because a small number of your player base is potentially abusing it seems like overkill to me. It's also frustrating on a personal level - I often gift Crown Store items as competition prizes in the Sunfire's Sect trading guild (PC/EU), or between my accounts.Or if they can't unlock your account for gifting, you could ask them if they can send the gift and charge you for it. Sometimes you'll get varying reaponses from different Support members. #3.The criteria listed is not new. that has been in place since gifting was enabled. its just how the information is presented that has been changed. but it has always been that you can not gift until you have purchased crowns and/or subbed to ESO+ and waited for 30 days before you can gift.
