Dmitry Karshtedt, a law professor and a celebrated scholar in the intellectual property law community, died late last month. He was 45. The cause of death is currently unknown, according to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.Professor Dmitry Karshtedt, an expert in patent law, joined the law school this past fall from the Center for Law and the Biosciences at Stanford Law School. He answered a few questions about his background and research and offered advice for law students.
